There are several ways to enjoy the arts and culture in Citrus Heights. There are two fabulous public arts programs. The first is the Greenback Lane Public Art Project. Beginning in March of 2008 the City Council approved the acquisition of Colin Lambert's "Up and Away" for placement on the vacant parcels between Parkoaks and Van Maren Lane. The City staff is continuously working with the artist to facilitate the final construction of this amazing piece of work. The second program offered by Citrus Heights is �Art in City Hall�. The objective of the program is to assist the City and the History and Arts Commission tin beautifying City Hall, creating community involvement, promoting public art, and creating an opportunity to feature the talent of Citrus Heights� artists.�
