The Parks and Recreation Department of Concord offers several unique programs geared towards its citizens with special needs. The programs are designed for people 16 years of age and older. The "Access to Recreation" provides accommodation to recreational classes and programs for people with disabilities (developmental, physical, ADD/ADHD etc.) Concord�s goal is to make available programs to individuals with different disabilities and insure that the participants� experience is a valuable one. There are several types of group activities to participate in. These include bowling and different sporting events, dining out, trips to the theater and more. Concord continues to take great pride in all of the members of its community.
