Tulsa, Oklahoma is a center for Native American handiwork and art, and native dance festivals are a source of entertainment and education. Tulsa is located in the foothills of the Ozark Mountains and on the banks of the Arkansas River which is in northeast Oklahoma. It is referred to locally as 'Green Country' because of the abundance of trees in the city and surrounding area.
