The Waterloo Community Playhouse has been around for over ninety years. The theater was originally organized back in nineteen sixteen by the Waterloo Drama in the hopes of creating new and creative amateur theatre. Over eight hundred residents volunteer in the theaters eleven productions each year. Over half of a million children have enjoyed the children�s theater which started in nineteen eighty-two.
